Anonymous, circa 206-195 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.36 g, 11 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing crested and winged helmet; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA (in partial linear frame) The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback galloping right; above their heads, two stars; below, rostrum tridens right. Crawford 114/1. RBW 522. Sydenham 244. Thin flan crack and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.

From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins and from the RBW Collection, Classical Numismatic Group E-Auction 364, 2 December 2015, 93 (with collector's and original auction tickets), privately acquired from Paul Vecchi in December 1988.
